Sutton lays at the southern edge of Greater London and is very much a part of the commuter belt into the centre of London. Once a collection of rural villages, Sutton still has a very rural feel to it and many locations, such as Cheam and Carshalton are still referred to as villages today. The history of the area means that there are many national heritage sites spotted around the borough, leaving much to do on the odd weekend.

Sutton resembles more of a commuter town than a London borough, being described as middle class, quiet and green. Cheam and St. Helier provide an array of mid-war houses for families or house shares, while areas such as Carshalton normally attract well off stock brokers.

Tube Connections

Sutton has easy access to tube services via frequent trains leaving from national rail stations to west Croydon station. There are also many bus connections to local stations to help improve the lives of commuters throughout the area.
