Islington is a small borough, home to around 200,000 inhabitants, which sits directly above the centre of London. Within Islington you will find a large variety of architecture and atmosphere, from the vibrant Camden passage to the quieter residential areas around Angel. Initially a rundown borough in the 1960s, Islington has grown tremendously over the past few decades to become a hip and trendy area.
