We’ve been busy working behind the scenes to introduce a fantastic tool to enable you to watch property video walkthroughs online. You can now take part in an ‘online viewing’, all from the comfort of your home.
These tours will often provide a full walkthrough of the property, usually with voice overs that guide you through every room of the property. Not only that, but they’ll also highlight key benefits/features of renting the property which you may otherwise miss from just looking at photos or reading the description.
They’re a great way to get a better sense of space, layout and the general feel of a home.
And now it’s easier than ever to find properties where online viewings are available on StudentTenant.com – just keep an eye out for the ‘Videos Available’ label in the property search page.
You can also filter properties in your search by properties with video walkthroughs by clicking on the “more filters” search filter.
How it works
1. Video request
Once you've found a property you'd like to view, simply click on the "request video" button which will automatically email the landlord requesting access to the property video walkthrough.
2. Watch the video
Once approved, you'll receive an email with a link to watch any of the videos uploaded by the landlord on the property advert.
3. Secure the property
We'll then be in touch to discuss the property and any further questions you may have. If you'd like to secure the property, we'll start the process on your behalf.
How many properties have virtual or video tours?
We’ve already listed over 100 properties which have online video walkthroughs or virtual tours available to view. Plenty of properties have already uploaded video walkthroughs, and there's more being added daily, so keep an eye out for it in your property search.
